The Gold Cup final was played at the Allegiant stadium in Las Vegas, resulting in a win for the United States Men’s National Team over Mexico. That was not the only highlight, however, as Jamaican dancehall artiste Charly Black performed his heart out for thousands of patrons who attended the after show.
The “Party Animal” singer posted his accomplishment on his Instagram page, and many of his fans were congratulating him on the achievement, while he represented the country through music on the big stage.
In his post, he wrote, “So many times i was invited to Las Vegas and i said i won’t go until I’m working and last night i got to perform infront of 61,547 patrons in attendance at the (allegiant stadium) plus the millions watching the @goldcup finals worldwide while I represent my country”.
In his post, he further wrote, “even though my team never made it to the finals I’m still proud of them big up @calidandee yeah a mad thing”.
Charlie Black is well known for his punchy party songs which always has a sense of timelessness to them, which led to the deejay himself getting a Diamond certification in 2016 for his song “Gyal You A Party Animal”, which sold over 600,000 copies in Latin American countries.
It is also a great look for Jamaica as more of the country’s entertainers have been getting featured internationally, with us seeing Shenseea performing at the recent Rolling Loud Festival and now Charlie Black being given a chance to have shared his talent on the Post Gold Cup Finals Show.
