Christopher Tufton Hospitalised; Hit Off Bicycle By Popular Artiste

Jamaica’s Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton was taken to hospital Sunday morning following a cycling accident which took place along Charlemont Avenue in St. Andrew.
A report on the matter from Nationwide details that Dr. Tufton was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a motor vehicle driven by a well-known artiste. The identity of the artiste was not revealed.
The Minister is believed to have sustained a serious hand injury to his hand. Despite the severity of his injury, Dr. Tufton is expected to make a full recovery.
Reacting to the news, one X user commented, “I hope they took him to KPH so he can experience what the masses endure.” On the other hand, another person commented, “Get well soon. I’m so sorry.”
