Well known Reggae artiste, Chuck Fender is now under heavy scrutiny for a song he did 7 years ago with the now popular Jada Kingdom when she was just a teenager at the age of 15. According to the “Gash dem and light dem” singer, the relationship with Jada at the time was strictly business, and he saw her potential to be one of Jamaica’s best from that age.
The entertainer stated that before doing the song entitled “Believe”, he consulted the female singer’s mother who he got permission from as well as the principal, and at the time from teacher at Vauxhall high whenever he would pick her up from school.
According to Chuck Fenda, the lyrics of Kingdom song was not for him either and in the video, there was no form of embrace since she was an underaged girl at the time.
Even though the artiste, is holding on to his point that the boundaries were well respected, some fans who recently saw the post on Pinkwall Instagram, got aggravated and have suggested that police investigations take place while many others expressed how inappropriate it was for Fender to do a song like that with a teenager.
