Clarks Originals pledges Island-wide Community-Based Charitable Donations
The release of a ‘Jamaica Pack’ from the Spring 2021 collection by the British Footwear giant Clarks Originals is being teased.
The new collection will officially be launched in April and the company promised to make charitable donations from the money made from the sales of the shoes, in the collection.
The shoe brand has been a popular favourite in Jamaica, the love affair with Clarkes started on the island in the 70s along with the ‘rude bwoy’ culture that still exists today.
To celebrate the original connection, they decided to pay tribute to the individuality of the island by reworking some of their most iconic styles.
The company is proud to be a part of Jamaican life for almost 60 years and wants to find a way to say thank you. A statement was made on their Instagram page with an invitation to visit their web page to check on availability.
The Desert Boots, Desert Trek Styles and the beloved Wallabees will feature in the ‘Jamaica Pack’.
The collection will be Jamaica-inspired and will pay homage to the National flag of the country. The collection will also have shoes that will bear the colors yellow, black and green.
