Contractor Music Marketing has spent one month on the Billboard Reggae Album Charts as executive producer of the album Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica. The album was premiered on Billboard’s website with an article and then hit the Msn entertainment website.
The premier of the album was seen by approximately 12 million viewers. The album is distributed digitally by Amada Records out of Atlanta. The album features pop star Ed. Sheeran, Mojo Morgan from Morgan Heritage, Jethro Sheeran (first cousin of Ed Sheeran), Capleton, Sizzla, Lee Scratch Perry, Damian and Stephen Marley, Wyclef Jean, Chronix, Contractor and many more.
The album Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica debuted at number 2 on the Billboard raggae album charts and has been there for 4 consecutive weeks currently in the number 4 position. A single from the album Outlaw which features Jethro Sheeran, Contractor and Tim Starr from Trinidad is receiving an extensive amount of airplay and streams in the States coutesy of the Dj Grid Usa and The Digital Radio Tracker.
Sean Contractor Edwards runs the number 1 music marketing company in the Caribbean and he personally selected the songs and artists for the album. He says all of the artists on the album are people who he respects and all the singles on the album are songs which he has promoted or marketed in the past. Contractor also told YardHype that he and his partners Amada Records will be coming out with a hip hop project this year which will feature an unreleased single from Tupac Shakur , more Ed and Jethro Sheeran tracks and a track with Chris Brown , CMurder amongst other big names in Hip Hop. Contractor says his partners Amada Records in the States do an excellent job bringing the social media attention to the album and this generates sales and streams.
The album Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica also has new artists featured on the album who collaborate with some of the major superstars. For example, Cookie the Herbalist from Switzerland collaborates with Lee Scratch Perry and Rollie Fresh from Spanish Town collaborates with Chronix on the album.
