The vigil Nine Night will start at 9 pm said Tawana Jones, the co- owner of Mineral Boss Records who is also the deceased artistes wife. She wanted the nine night to be held on mutual ground.
Cleon Jones was shot and killed last Tuesday, December 12th at his home in St Catherine, close to Mineral Bath. The police are still trying to find out why he was killed. Due to the huge amount of bodies piled up at the morge, the autopsy and the funeral was postponed until a day in 2018.
Mineral Boss had just shot a video for his break out single “Break Thru” featuring I- Octane on the Day Light riddim.
Mineral Boss is just one of the many dancehall artistes that has lost their lives recently. It seems as if it is time for everyone to see that change is needed, or the music industry in Jamaica might not survive, even though Tawana Jones the co-owner of Mineral Boss Records has vowed to continue the work.
