Covid-19 Vaccine Rollout In Jamaica in Two Weeks
According to the Minister of Health Dr. Christopher Tufton, Over 250,000 Jamaicans are to benefit from Covid-19 vaccinations, which means that approximately 10 percent, of the 2.7 million population, will get the needle Jab.
The information was given by the Minister at, Jamaica house recently where he confirmed that arrangements already have been made to secure the vaccines through the Pan American Health Organisation, and The World Health Organization.
Mr. Tufton, also stated that things will be picking up in approximately “A week or Two”, as they will by then have a team ready for the distribution of the long-awaited vaccine.
International medical organizations, such as Moderna and Pfizer, already confirmed that their vaccines will be ready for use by December into January.
Many people have been worried about the vaccines with many even stating they will not be taking it, however, the big companies have confirmed that the shots have been tested to be 90 percent effective with little to no side effects.
