Damian Marley Beats Popcaan, Alkaline,…To MOBO Award For Best Reggae Act

Reggae superstar Damian Marley was the recipient of the MOBO Award for Best Reggae Act of the year on Wednesday night at Leeds’ First Direct Arena, England.

Damian Marley was up against the likes of Popcaan, Alkaline, Aidonia, and Chronixx.

The coveted best reggae entertainer title was won last year by PopCaan ahead of roots singer Protoje, dancehall deejays Spice and Alkaline and singjay Kranium.

This is Damian Marley sixth nomination for the award which he won in 2005.

In the meantime, the reggae superstar latest album Stony Hill is also nominated for Grammy in the best Reggae Album category.

Chronixx is the best of the lot yah now .. but once a marley nominated him a go win is just the corruption of the system

Not surprising. While they are very good artist the system is using the name “marley” . Chronixx is one of the best. Why cant others see this.
