Rum Blood whose given name is Ranaldo Evans faced a judge on December 27, after his arrest on gun charges on Friday, November 29, in Los Angeles, California; but the recording producer and recording artiste is now feeling great and grateful as he is free now.

He even got the chance to enjoy a day of rest and relaxation as he organized a trip to Jamaica.
“I was never worried about my reputation because I am a law-abiding human being; me nuh waan see jail ever,” said Rum Blood.

He was arrested after illegal firearms were found by police in a vehicle he traveled in. He was in the 77th Street Community Police Station for 12 hours.

He spent 12 hours in lock-up before he was released on US$35,000 bail, and said he had one of the most nerve-racking experiences in his life.

He is now glad for the artistes who were there for him like Bounty Killer, Agent Sasco, Bugle and others, even though there were persons who didn’t wish him well. He is glad for the people who reached out to him and helped him to have faith.

The district attorney eventually dropped the charges because there was no proof that Rum Blood knew anything about the guns. His lawyer, Jaaye Person-Lynn confirmed this.
