D’Angel Celebrates Her 46th Birthday and 20 Years in Dancehall – Watch Videos

Dancehall artiste Michelle Downer, more popularly known as D’Angel, is in a celebratory mood as April 1 marks her 46th birthday.

The artiste rose to stardom in Dancehall in the early 2000s with songs such as Living Uptown/Downtown Girl.

She kicked off her birthday celebration by doing what she loves to do best, performing.

After her performance in New York, D’Angel was greeted at home with a special birthday gift from her son Marco Dean, a bouquet of flowers, which the teen greeted her with at the door.

During the video, the mom of one expressed that she had not expected anything and described it as the best gift she had ever received.

In addition to her performance and her special surprise, D’Angel also shared Marco Dean’s birthday message on her Instagram page, during which he expressed his gratitude for his mother.

“Today is the day that the lord has created an angel in this world and I am so appreciative [ … ] I thank god that he placed u in my grandmothers womb [ … ] Happy birthday mommy I wish u more life,” Marco Dean wrote.

D’Angel, who is also celebrating her 20th anniversary in the music industry, went on to share her own celebratory birthday message and thanked her fans for their support.

“I’m grateful beyond words for another year of life as I celebrate my birthday and 20 years of musical journey! 🎉🎶 Your unwavering support has been my strength through every high and low, helping me persevere and thrive in all my endeavors. Life is a blessing and a journey. Make the best of it 🎊 Thank you my Angels! ❤️” D’Angel wrote.

D’Angel also showcased her birthday look in a video, which shows the former model rocking flowing waist-length pink hair with an embellished silver gown.
