D’Angel Goes Platinum Blond for 45th Birthday – See Photos and Watch Videos

The first lady of Dancehall, singjay Michelle Downer, professionally known as D’Angel, is ringing in her 45th birthday with a new platinum blond look as she concludes her queen week and birthday photoshoot series, showcasing the many different hats she has worn as a mother, model, artiste, and humanitarian.

D’Angel kicked off her five-day birthday photoshoot series with a brunette bob haircut, high-rise flared trousers, and a nude coat. The chique business look represented the artistes more serious humanitarian endeavours.

Through her charity, Angel’s Foundation, the Stronger singer has assisted the elderly, the disabled, and the less fortunate. She has partnered with local companies for her Christmas treat, which handed over 500 Christmas care packages last December in her hometown of Spanish Town. In her Instagram post on Tuesday, D’Angel highlighted that life was not about wealth but about being real, humble, and kind.

Day two saw the singjay dressed in a more casual look, which consisted of a button-up shirt and denim skirt, which was her “On the Go Mom” look. After tying the knot with her now ex-husband Beenie Man in 2006, D’Angel gave birth to their son shortly after. The artiste has described motherhood as one of her greatest life achievements.

“Being a mom is honestly one of my greatest achievements. It’s a role that I take extremely serious. It’s a 24-hour job, so you can easily say I’m a momtreprenuer,” D’Angel wrote, captioning her day two photoshoot pics.

Before she entered the music industry, D’Angel modelled locally and internationally, gracing the runway at New York Fashion Week. Modelling was the artiste’s first passion, and she gave fans a taste of her magazine cover-ready physique in a fur ensemble on day three. D’Angel rose to prominence in dancehall with her hit single Uptown Life. The entertainer highlighted her achievements in the industry on day four of her photoshoot series while rocking a metallic leotard and fishnet stockings.

For her grand reveal and birthday look on Saturday, D’Angel went platinum blonde with her sheer, bejewelled ensemble.
