D’Angel Takes Aim at Bounty and Beenie

With Sting steadily approaching, artistes including D’Angel have been attempting to secure a spot on the show that is dubbed the greatest one-night reggae and dancehall show on earth. The event organisers have already booked some of Dancehall’s pillars and rising sensations, offering a variety of diverse talent.

The First Lady singjay, legally named Michelle Downer, teased a new song that takes a shot at multiple members of the dancehall fraternity, including her ex-husband Beenie Man and ex-boyfriend Bounty Killer.

During the diss track, the war angel first dissed dancehall artiste Kyodi by stating that he could not find a hit song and then took a jab at Demarco by reacting to his $6 million request to clash Fully Bad on Sting.

“Kyodi, hitch up round a Marcus, can’t find a hit song, all now him cyah bus. Demarco a talk bout 6 mill, him a try escape cause him nuh wah get kill,” she said.

She continued by taking swings at Foota Hype and Popcaan before firing shots at Bounty Killer, whom she called out for the controversial dance he did on stage.

“Mi see di killa a whine up pan stage. Talk bout yuh a badman, yuh is a damn disgrace,” she deejayed. D’Angel subsequently targeted Beenie Man for his infamous belly, which he lost after being jeered online but ultimately regained.

“Beenie, yah suffa from malnutrition. From mi tap feed you, all yuh belly get bang,” she added.

Notably, D’Angel was banned from Sting in the past and it’s unclear if the event organisers are willing to have her on the platform this year, so far, it doesn’t seem that way.
