Tony Rebel and Queen Ifrica’s daughter “Davianah” who is also a recording artiste filed a report at the Constant Spring Police Station with regards to the abuse that she has been talking about on social media.
The report was lodged on Friday and according to Davianah whose real name is Davahu Barrett, the experience at the police station was much better than in the past when she visited.
“It was a very professional experience this time, and I must applaud the JCF (Jamaica Constabulary Force) on how professional, victim-centred and smooth the process was this time; my trauma was not trivialized. I just wanted to feel that the system worked for someone like me. I really want to break out of this cycle of abuse, and this is the first step in that direction,” she told OBSERVER ONLINE.
Days ago, Barrett posted a bloody video and an eyebrow raising caption, she said “I’m just sick of being abused, mentally and physically, I’m tired.” She went on to outline that she was ready to go which had onlookers interpreting her statement to be a suicidal note.
However, it’s now being reported that the video was one from a previous attack that took place several months ago, her nose was broken as a result of that reported attack.
On a more positive note, Davianah is scheduled to release a 5 track EP titled “Bad One” soon.
