Decomposed Body Found In Bushes Off Mandela Highway

The unidentified remains of a decomposed body were found today, June 18, near the Mandela Highway entrance in the parish of St Catherine.
According to reports, police personnel were conducting a routine spot check when the shocking discovery was made in the bushes.
Investigations are ongoing by the police.
Since this week, six bodies have been reported found in and around areas in St. Catherine.
A State of Emergency (SOE) was declared for the parish on Friday, June 17, by Prime Minister Andrew Holness amidst the upsurge in violence in Spanish Town.
