Where his recovery is concerned, the entertainer told Williams that he is currently at 80 per cent since the issue he was facing was a blockage on his vocal cord called a Polim that required him to get a laryngoscope and a surgery in order to help the situation.

The “Life Goes On” singer stated that the issue debilitated his speech to the extent that he could not even communicate properly with his friends. According to Deep Jahi, the situation is one that he was very fearful of since he did not know what it is, and it affected his performances while doing stage shows and dubplates.

It is understood from what the deejay expressed that it was after the issue started to affect his breathing in his sleep that he started to take the matter seriously. Before then, Deep Jahi said he used to visit the doctor about it but thought when he heard the huskiness in his voice it was just him maturing, not knowing there was a problem.

As it relates to the therapy he had to go through for the condition the artiste explained to Winford Williams that he had to do two weeks without talking, then afterwards he said he got 10 minutes out of every hour to express himself. The deejay even said that he had to be using the text to voice translator in Tik Tok at one point to communicate things he wanted to say.

After that period the deejay said he was able to start talking normal, however, he still has therapy to attend in order to get things back to normal.

As for his latest release the entertainer said the song was voiced during his struggle with the condition and so everything according to him that was sung was as real as it gets. Moving forward though, Deep Jahi says he has been working with his team called Tepa Music and as such his fans should expect more from him as well as from young artistes in his camp.
