Demarco Says He Wants A Clash; Teejay, Jahshii, and Yaksta Responds While Shane O Previews War Song

One thing Jamaican music lovers cannot get enough of is a well-executed lyrical battle, which always stirs excitement in the industry. Dancehall artiste Demarco is now looking to kick off his very own clash to remind fans of his superior lyrical abilities.

Clashes are usually ignited during feuds, but Demarco took to social media on Wednesday with an announcement that he is willing to go toe to toe with any prominent lyricist, feud or not. Notably, in the past, the Duppy Know Who Fi Frighten deejay clashed and stood up strong against fellow dancehall Heavyweights such as Mavado, Masicka, Konshens and Popcaan.

The deejay made the announcement on Instagram, sharing that he wanted to “exercise” his lyrical skills. “MI WAH CLASH A BIG ARTIST WHO WAH CLASH? TIME FI EXERCISE MI LYRICAL SKILLS!!!!” He wrote in the post and added in the caption, “READY FI BUSS DEM HEAD!!! 🔫 #dancehallbaddestting.”

The post caught the eyes of multiple others in the music industry, such as fellow deejays Teejay, Jahshii, and Yaksta.

In response to the post, Teejay said, “Anytime ya ready e na 😂😂😂😂.” Demarco replied to Teejay’s comment by saying, “@teejay.uptopboss DANCE YUH A DANCE NOW MI DEEJAY 🕺🏾 🤣RIFLE A FIRE RIGHT NOW!!!”

Jahshii was also ready to take on Demarco, as he commented, “Ready When Yuh Ready Eno😂😂😂.” Reggae singer Yaksta, who also wanted a piece of the action, wrote, “Weh yo seh war 😂.”

While Demarco responded with a laughing emoji to Jahshii’s comment, he left only the word “WAR” in reaction to what Yaksta said.
