Denyque’s EP ‘R.E.A.D.Y’ Debuts on Hip-Hop iTunes Chart
Press Release – Jamaican R&B singer, Denyque is crushing the Hip-Hop charts after the release of her EP, R.E.A.D.Y (Release Everything And Do You). At midnight on February 2nd, Denyque gave the world a shock when she dropped R.E.A.D.Y under the Hip-Hop/Rap genre and created waves.
Friday at 6 am saw R.E.A.D.Y being added to Spotify and by 10 am, it amassed over 16,000 streams. It also made it onto 25 Hip-Hop playlists during those short 4 hours. Then came even more tremendous news – the EP debuted on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap charts at number 26 before 6 pm.
Denyque and her team were ecstatic after seeing this as the sultry singer continues to make important strides in her career with her talent, uniqueness and fearlessness of trying things outside of the ordinary.
Not one to follow the norm, Denyquewas interviewed by Dr Empress Rose on the 1-on-1 Music Review show at 2:30pm Friday afternoon where songs from the EP were previewed to an eclectic global audience live on YouTube. This, the team believes, helped sway her numbers on the charts as she moved up to 20 and then up to 15 before finishing the night off at number 14, surpassing Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 (Gag City Deluxe) album.
Denyque would have been happier to break into the top ten – being the first female R&B singer from Jamaica to defy such a feat in Hip-Hop – but the Lifespan spokesperson is quite content with the achievement at this point of her career. 4 out the 5 songs on the EP have also charted, with “Ease My Mind”, “Long Way Down”, “Make A Wish” and “Between Me And You” breaking into the top 200 Hip-Hop/Rap singles chart by occupying the 194 to 197 spots respectively. R.E.A.D.Y is a sure success which will likely propel Denyque to become an international crossover sensation.
The 5-track EP, which features her 2 hit singles “Between Me And You” and “Make A Wish”, was produced by Levels To Life Productions in collaboration with Lee Milla Productions and Denyque’s own Denym Entertainment label. Other producers also include Emudio Records and ThatBossEvan. R.E.A.D.Y is distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution Inc and is available for streaming and purchasing on all major platforms.
Denyque is gearing up for a US tour as well as several appearances on various television and radio programs. She has also been featured on the remix of a Devin Di Dakta song called “Think Like A Man”, which is set for release on February 16. It seems 2024 is Denyque’s year to dominate in more ways than one.

Denyque “Make A Wish”
Reeling high from the success of her previous single, “Between Me And You”, and the controversy that surrounded it involving the Unruly Boss, Denyque returns with a follow-up titled “Make A Wish”. The Jamaican R&B songstress teamed up again with her ace producer, Levels_LVL from Levels To Life Production, to put this immaculate song together.
Released on January 5, 2024 via 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution, “Make A Wish” is raunchy and sultry with lyrics to complement the cover art which sees Denyque in quite the risqué outfit. It was coproduced by Levels To Life Productions with Levels_LVL and Rotwist alongside certified gold and platinum-selling producer, That Boss Evan. A visualizer with lyrics was uploaded to her VEVO channel, emulating what seems to be a private video call between herself and her love-interest.
“Make A Wish” is the second single from Denyque’s READY EP which is slated for release in February. Fans are already anticipating the EP and with “Make A Wish” being projected to be just as successful as or even more than “Between Me And You”, Denyque may very well have a winner on her hands.
It’s evident that the creative chemistry between Levels_LVL and Denyque is a perfect partnership with proven results. “Make A Wish” is sure to please all R&B enthusiasts who still enjoy some infusion of Reggae into their favourite music.
