DJ Khaled Putting Final Touches on Album ‘Khaled Khaled’ in Jamaica with Buju Banton
The American producer and record executive DJ Khaled is in Jamaica putting the final touches on his 12th studio project, which is his upcoming album, Khaled Khaled.
The album by the We The Best CEO has attracted features from H.E.R. and Post Malone already, according to Hip Hop DX, Nas, Roddy Ricch and Migos, Lil Baby, Meek Mill, Tay Keith etc will also be on the prject.
Khaled couldn’t miss the opportunity to recruit yet another Grammy Award winner, such as Buju Banton the Dancehall and Reggae legend, for the project that is already packed.
Buju and Khaled collaborated before, along with Sizzla, Mavado, and 070 Shake, on the Holy Mountain video and song in 2019, which was done a little over a week after Buju had finished serving his prison sentence in December 2018.
Surprisingly Khaled also posted a video just hour ago of Capleton in studio either making a dub plate or voicing lyrics for his Album, check it out below.
Khaled the music tycoon was seen in several photos and videos which were tagged “album mode” and posted on his Instagram yesterday, he is seen hanging out with Banton at a resort in Ocho Rios.
Khaled was holding a meditation with his musical brother Buju, and in a video, you could see Banton playing with Asahd, Khaled’s son. We also see an interaction between Buju, Khaled’s fiancee Nicole Tuck and his son Aalam Tuck Khaled, the Gargamel sang to Aalam, before Aalam gave him a high five.
Khaled wrote that the album was 97.8% complete and said Khaled Khaled was being recorded live from Holy Mountain. Joseph Khan the Korean-American music and film video director was also seen speaking with Khaled about the visuals for one of the songs on the album.
DJ Khaled posted a small clip of the video of the resort’s lush surroundings with the song, Holy Ground in which Buju Banton is featured, playing in the background.
There are high expectations for Khaled Khaled.
