DJ Khaled Yet to Respond to Sizzla’s Actions and Statements

Several days after Jamaican reggae artiste Sizzla Kalonji publicly aired his grievance against DJ Khaled in what has now become a viral incident, the American producer has yet to respond to Kalonji’s actions and statements.

On Thursday, Kalonji shared multiple videos on social media of him dismantling and then incinerating the platinum album plaques sent to him for his contribution to two of Khaled’s albums, it was stated in the videos that Sizzla could barely see his name.

The videos were deleted from Kalonji’s Instagram page, but that did not stop fans and members of the entertainment industry from expressing solidarity for Khaled or defending Kalonji, as they believe the incident was ignited by a deeper issue. Most recently, dancehall artiste Popcaan commented in defence of Kalonji after an entertainment blogger suggested he owes the public an explanation.

Though the incident was widely covered by Jamaican media and several American outlets, Khaled has not yet responded to Kalonji. The busy music mogul has been travelling across Saudi Arabia and recently walked the red carpet at the Ritz-Carlton Jeddah at the Red Sea International Film Festival, which concluded on December 10.

He recently also made a one-day stop in Paris, sharing a few videos from his trip on his Instagram page and stories.

The We The Best producer also reshared an old video of him and Rick Ross, in which he declares, “You either win with us, or you watch us win.”
