DMX Prepped for Brain Function Tests, Still in Coma

The latest news with regards to iconic rapper DMX is that he’s still in a very bad state and still on life support. According to his manager Steve Rifkind, doctors are about to perform tests to clarify the level of his brain function and these tests may prove to be critical in determining the New York rapper’s health outcome.

He stated, “DMX is currently on life support and in a coma. There are multiple people with inaccurate information about his well-being and it is not helpful and productive,” Rifkind told NBC News on April 6th. With regards to the tests today, he stated “Tomorrow he will undergo further tests on his brain function”.

The manager went on to outline that DMX’s family will decide what to do after the results of the tests are known “his family will determine what’s best from there.”

Several members of DMX’s family was allowed to visit him on Tuesday night at the White Plains Hospital in New York..

A prayer vigil was kept on April 5th in New York, hundreds of fans, friends and family members including his kids and ex wife turned out in support of the spiritual rapper.

The rapper suffered a heart attack during the OD and there have been reports about an inflammation in his head.

 The rapper had suffered from year’s of addiction in the past and even went to rehab in 2019, as he feared he was about to go into relapse.
