Donald Trump Advocates a Raise For The Covid Relief Fund From $600 to $2000
Donald Trump is defending more money for American citizens, as congress recently passed a bill for a $900 relief fund, which included direct payments of $600.
The outgoing President addressed the situation via a tweet and was not holding back his opinion on the matter, getting straight to the point.
This amount would have been half the amounts that Americans got in March of this year, in the earlier stages of the pandemic.
Trump stated that the whole thing is a disgrace, being that the bill has little to do with Covid regardless of it being referred to as a Covid relief bill.
He pleaded for the congress to consider raising the amount of money to either $2000 or $4000, which would suffice to take care of a couple.
