Sophia Lugg, the mother of Donna-Lee Donaldson, shares a heartfelt message to mark the last day she saw her daughter in person. According to the distraught parent, tomorrow will be one year and two months since Donna-Lee vanished.
Lugg wrote via Facebook, “Today Monday the 11th, was the exact Monday evening. like this, when my baby girl Donna leave our home to be with that Savage Noel Maitland, and tomorrow Tuesday the 12th she was brutally murdered by him n his colleagues, at the Chelsea Manor Apartment, One year and two months to be exact, and he refused to tell me what happens to my child, where is my daughterNOEL?????.”
The grieving mother admitted that she is still having difficulty processing what happened to her daughter as she expresses her pain with words, especially because she hasn’t gotten any closure in the case that is still before the courts. However, if there was one thing Lugg was clear about, then it was who she believed was the person responsible for killing her daughter.
Lugg also reminded the public that on the 20th of September 2023, she and Noel Maitland, the man charged with the disappearance of Donna-Lee, will be going back to court for a bail hearing.
She also asked the Jamaican public and the world for their prayers for justice and thanked those who have stood by her side amidst the ‘living nightmare’ she continues to experience.
“Jamaica and everyone around the world please help me pray for justice, without God this case would be impossible, my life is a living nightmare only God knows how i am surviving, thank y’all for standing with me, No justice No Peace,” Lugg declared.
