Dr. Chang Appeals To Residents of Arnett Gardens to Assist in Police Investigation

14- year-old Yetanya Francis left home about 8.00 pm to buy food at a nearby shop. When she didn’t return, residents searched for her and did not find her until the next morning. She was nude and partially burnt, and persons saw signs of rape and strangulation on her body as well.
Jamaicans are hoping that the person who committed this heinous crime will turn themselves in to the police. The killing of the young girl who was a student of the Kingston Technical High School is unbearable.
The Minister of Security Dr. Horace Chang is appealing to residents to give information to the Denham Town Criminal Investigation Branch at 876-948-6443 or 876-922-6441, or police emergency number 119, Crime Stop 311, 811 or the nearest police station they have access to.
