In a recent Twitter video that Raphousetv (RHTV) posted with the caption, “Fans now dig up old lyrics where he seemingly dissed x on one of his songs, is he responsible for X’s death.”
In the lyrics of that particular song shown in the video, the Canadian rapper does not mention XXXTentacion’s name, but the Started From The Bottom rapper did say, “If he held his tongue on that live, he be alive again.”
Fans are claiming that in that line Drake was referring to the beef he and XXXTentacion had when the Florida rapper took to the internet to diss Drake directly. What fuels these stunning allegations is the assertion that XXXTentacion made before he died, that if he was killed it was Drake’s doing.
The video also went on to supposedly break down Drake’s cryptic raps when he mentions, “Maybe I should do 20, maybe I should break 20 do a ten, maybe I should break that 10 do a five then if he can slide do that five again.” The video editor added 10+10+5+5, and somehow it came out equal to XXX.
The rumoured diss against XXXTentacion comes on after news broke that Drake would face deposition in the late rapper’s murder trial that is currently ongoing. XXXTentacion died on June 18, 2018.
In the Young Thug case, the judge used some of the rapper’s lyrics to prove Thug’s gang affiliation, and fans wonder if the same will happen with Drake’s alleged diss lyrics in the XXXTentacion murder trial.
It’s been more than four years since XXXTentacion was murdered outside a South Florida motorcycle shop, the trial of three men accused of his murder began Tuesday.
Trayvon Newsome, Michael Boatwright, and Dedrick Williams each face life sentences if convicted of first-degree murder. In addition, they are all charged with armed robbery. Neither of them has pleaded guilty.
