Drug Smugglers Caught at Norman Manley Airport

Miriam Thompson a vendor from Norwood in St. James and Edson Berry from Portmore St. Catherine who is a construction worker were acting suspicious when they were going through security checks at the Norman Manley Airport in Kingston early Sunday Morning.
They were sent to the hospital to be checked and they both passed out capsules, filled with cocaine that weighed 4 lbs, and valued $2.6 million.

Ms Berry allegedly expelled 68 capsules containing cocaine while on the other hand Mr Thompson expelled 71 capsules.
They were planning to land in Guyana.
