Elon Musk’s SpaceX Starship Successfully Launches, Then Explodes Mid-Air – Watch Videos

In a post by Elon Musk, the entrepreneur shared a video of the SpaceX Starship rocket’s launch. The rocket, which was reported to have launched from the east coast of Texas on Thursday morning, left the launch pad successfully as it made its way to the sky.

Starship, as it was dubbed, was an unmanned flight test rocket. According to the BBC, the rocket seemed to have developed complications approximately three minutes into its flight and was allegedly detonated by onboard charges.

Elon Musk showed no signs of regret over the loss of the ship and instead tweeted, “Congrats @SpaceX team on an exciting test launch of starship! Learned a lot for next test launch in a few months.”

The ship got off the ground without damaging the launch pad and is reported to be the largest ever built. Starship’s top portion, often known as the ship, has previously flown on quick flights, but this was the first time it had also launched with its lower portion, the vehicle.

It was possible to witness the Starship exploding in the air while dissolving in a spreading show of fire and smoke, as video evidence of the event was released across the internet.
