Facebook Now Meta

For some time there have been talks that Facebook was planning to make some changes to their branding, due to the direction that the company’s Ceo Mark Zuckerberg is taking the organization.

The social media company Ceo made the announcement yesterday via CNET’s channel on YouTube, and he started the video to let the world know that it is time for his organization to adopt new branding that encompasses everything their company is about.

In the video, Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be known as “Meta” which will feature many technological upgrades shortly, that will see persons enjoying a more genuine experience of virtual reality.

The first thing Zuckerberg spoke about concerning the change of branding was connecting with people at which point the tech guru introduced the concept of the Metaverse, which is a virtual environment for people to meet and enjoy activities as they would do in real life.

As it relates to privacy, Mark Zuckerberg stated that anyone a part of the Metaverse will be able to accept others to be a part of their world or choose to enjoy the experience by themselves.

Features soon to be introduced to the Metaverse according to Zuckerberg is Horizon world, which will allow users to create their reality to experience.

The tech guru also said that as it related to the financial side of things, billions of dollars have been invested in the new move, especially where it concerns high-end technology like the Cambria which will give the person using it to create an avatar to exist within the virtual world.

One upcoming technology that Zuckerberg mentioned will change things for the virtual world is the Nazare glass which is an augmented reality tool, being created to dull the lines between the real world and the Metaverse.

Persons working at home will also benefit once they are onboard with Meta’s new projects which will allow them to access everything they would at work from home, with additional virtual reality human experience.
