Fatal Stabbing in St. Andrew over Unflushed Toilet

Sherman Young, a 54-year-old-man, was stabbed to death at his residence on May 24, 2020, by his roommate supposedly about a dispute about an unflushed toilet.

According to police reports, the two residents of a shared house in Kintyre, August Town, St Andrew got into an argument early morning at 8 am which got heated resulting in Beayon Watkis, a 34-year-old student, pulling out a big knife.

Sherman fell to the ground after being attacked and tried to kick off his assailant, sustaining numerous stab wounds on his leg in the process.

Seeing all this, Phillip Young, the deceased man’s nephew, came in to save Sherman and managed to get both of them to University Hospital of the West Indies.

Watkins fully recovered after treatment. Sherman, on the other hand, passed away because of his injuries on May 26, 2020. Watkis has been charged after being interviewed by the police.
