According to what the police reported, Taylor rented a Nissan Latio motor car on Saturday morning. When the owner of the car was inspected by the police, he revealed that he got a call from Taylor that afternoon, informing him that he was in St. Thomas and had developed difficulty.

After the call ended abruptly, he tried to reach Taylor several times but had no luck. So, he used the vehicle’s electronic tracking system to trace the car and found it deserted in the Pear Tree River community.

A child restraint seat and a piece of rope were found in the abandoned vehicle.

Reports from the police state that Taylor, originally from Cornwall Barracks, got his son, and then picked Clayton from JDF headquarters in Kingston, and is then believed to head for Clayton’s home town in Bransbury District, St Thomas.

It’s alleged that Taylor offered the baby to someone to keep however the person refused to keep the baby because she did not know Taylor nor the baby.
