Female Teacher Killed in St. Elizabeth

According to the Treasure Beach Police, 28-year-old Chanel Smith an infant school teacher at Sandy Bank Infant School was shot and killed about 7:40 a.m on Tuesday morning. As reported by sources, the female teacher was attacked by men riding a motorcycle near the school’s compound in the Sandy Bank community of the parish.
She was walking towards the school when the men pulled up, one of the men open fire, hitting the teacher fatally. The men escaped and the victim was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A manhunt that is led by the police is currently on the way for the attackers.
The murder is currently being investigated.
