Final Four of The 2022 World Cup – See Semi-Finals Fixtures

After four nail-biting quarter-finals in Qatar, the World Cup 2022 approaches its final week with both semi-finals already locked in, following the sensational and exhilarating matches in the last eight.

In an intense match, Argentina prevailed over the Netherlands on penalty kicks on Friday, following a late fight back from the Louis Van Gaal lead Dutch team. As a result of the win, Lionel Messi continues to chase the seemingly elusive World Cup title, after a high-tempered quarter-final.

Earlier, a resilient Croatian team shocked the pre-tournament favourites Brazil in a shootout to reach the semis, four years after reaching the final in Moscow.

In the other pulsating games over the weekend, England’s Harry Kane skyed a late penalty after Olivier Giroud’s winning header, leading France to inflict further major tournament misery on England.

In earlier action, Morocco made history by eliminating Portugal from the World Cup with a first half  En-Nesyri header, becoming the first African nation ever to make the final. After surprising the Spanish in the round of 16, they continued their historic fairytale run in the 2022 edition of the tournament.
