“Unuh need fi link mi… whether sooner or later enuh, unuh affi guh link mi… Just link mi before it too late,” says Foota Hype as he calls out Vybz Kartel for naming his rum STR8 Vybz. According to the outspoken selector, he first started using the word ‘STR8’, making it his Intellectual property(IP).
“Yuh si weh Kartel liquor name now right, unuh see it… a me a run the place… unuh need fi link me…” he said repeatedly before declaring that he’s dealing with business. “Memba dah STR8 sup’n deh a my intellectual property, a my idea a my thought brought to life unuh memba good how dah sup’n yah guh enuh,” he said.
Foota Hype points out that “STR8” is copyrighted and he’s not joking about the situation, “it created offa my intellectual intelligence,” he went on to highlight that he will be taking the necessary actions if he’s not contacted about the issue.
In the live chat he also urged Kartel to have an alliance segment on his December 31 show. Bounty Killer, Wayne Marshal and Bling Dawg should be booked for the event because they were integral in the early years of his career, “the Kartel show cah exist without Bounty Killer” he outlined.
On the other hand, Foota Hype takes credit for MC Nuffy being booked for the event because prior to him talking about MC Nuffy not being booked, MC Nuffy was seemingly not considered to be apart of the show, hence he believes the same will be done for some of the names he’s now calling to be on it.
A part of the live chat was reshared to YouTube by KingMixup.
