The plane and copter crashed close to an airport as the plane was approaching a usually busy runway to land. The plane had 64 people onboard and the helicopter had 3 people onboard.

At 2 AM Thursday morning no report was made of survivors and the air vehicles submerged into about 7 feet of water. It’s believed that passengers could not survive the cold temperature of the water.

As per reports, the plane was on a path to the runway when the helicopter flew into it. The crash is deemed ‘extremely uncommon’ with a crash of the sort not happening in the USA for at least 15 years.

The plane was broken into two pieces while the helicopter was upside down in the water. President Trump commented on the crash, stating, “bad situation that looks like it should have been prevented.”

The statement made to his Truth Social Platform continued, “The airplane was on a perfect and routine line of approach to the airport. The helicopter was going straight at the airplane for an extended period of time. It is a CLEAR NIGHT, the lights on the plane were blazing, why didn’t the helicopter go up or down, or turn. Why didn’t the control tower tell the helicopter what to do instead of asking if they saw the plane.”
