This Wednesday marks a very sad day for the media industry as it was announced that former radio personality Winston ‘Babatunde’ Witter has passed away. He was 62 years of age.
According to the Jamaica Gleaner who initially published the story, Witter was on Sunday admitted to the University Hospital of The West Indies, after he was found at his home in an unconscious state.
It is understood, based on what a close friend of Witter told the popular Jamaica News medium, that ‘Babatunde’ who was well known for his years of work on the KLAS radio station was suffering from ailments caused by liver cirrhosis.
