It is very unfortunate that Mr. Jean Matthiew a business man who lived on Millsborough Crescent in St. Andrew; had decided to pull out his firearm when he was told that his companion needed to get an arm band before they would be allowed to enter the VIP section of the party, where they wanted to go.

The Security Guard said he felt threatened and he shot Mr. Matthew in self defense. He was also trying to protect the other patrons at the event. He will be going to the Firesrm Licensing Authority (FLA) to give a formal statement about the incident and he wants persons to be careful when they are sharing information on Social Media.
