This artiste first got some buzz in August of 2021 and later went on to become one of the most dominant young artistes in Dancehall locally in 2022.

Three years into the business, the St. Andrew native is now 23 years old and despite not producing any hit song in recent times, the deejay is actively releasing new music periodically with the last single being over 4 months ago.

His first school was the Shortwood Basic School next Shortwood Practising Primary and Infant then Excelsior High School where he played a lot of football and further developed his musical abilities which overshadowed his school activities.

Despite gaining popularity about three years ago, the artiste in question Jahshii whose real name is Mluleki Tafari Clarke has been making music since he was a child, with a video recently going viral of him in a studio on a mic saying, “youngest artiste inna builders nuh ramp wid me!”

Jahshii who has a diverse fanbase and is known for pouring out his emotions on the track is best known for songs such as ‘Born Fight’, ‘Keep Up’, ’25/8′, ‘Prosperity’ and ‘Energy’.

Notably, the music video for ‘Born Fighter’ has racked up over 39 million views on YouTube since being shared on the platform in January of 2022.

His last released song, titled ‘Cya Get Mi Out’ contains lyrics such as “Mi nah dead fi now”, a reaction to the attempt at his life which left several persons injured from gunshot wounds. The incident took place along Constant Spring Road in St. Andrew in July of 2023, 6 people were shot.

The artiste has been keeping a low profile since.
