Gunna Seemingly Addresses “Snitch” Allegations

In the aftermath of Us rapper Gunna’s release from prison late last year, critics and many Young Thug fans have labelled him as a “snitch,” primarily due to footage of his final hearing that circulated online. In the video, you can hear Gunna confess that YSL is a gang and that it used violence during its operation. After the video went viral, several notable artistes took to social media to share their thoughts on Gunna’s plea agreement.
In addition to Boosie’s anger and disappointment over Gunna’s alleged snitching, other powerful influencers in the hip-hop industry felt the same way, such as 6ix9ine, Wack 100, and DJ Akademiks.
Seemingly in response to all the rumours and allegations made against the “Too Easy” rapper, the 29-year-old Georgia native took to Instagram late Tuesday evening to address the “rat” accusations.

In the rap star’s Instagram post, it is clear that he is referring to the allegations that claim he leaked on Young Thug, stating that it is only one side and that he did not leave Young Thug’s team while shouting out and making the distinction that he is talking about YSL the music label. In an attempt to disassociate himself from YSL, the criminal gang that he admitted was responsible for violent activities within Atlanta.
Many players in the industry find it hard to believe that the rapper did not give up information to prosecutors against Young Thug and see his post as both a contradiction and a PR stunt to maintain his “street cred.”

Given that the artiste has taken a plea deal in the case against his gang associate Young Thug. According to numerous reports from trusted sources such as Rolling Stone, Gunna, born Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, is not expected to testify against any of his YSL contemporaries.
