Havana Hotel Explosion Death Toll Rises To 22
From 12 to 18, now the Cuban government is reporting that at least 22 people lost their lives after a powerful explosion ripped through the Saratoga Hotel, located in the capital of Cuba, Havana. Over 60 people were reported injured, while a few were seen walking in their rooms, trying to get help.
According to reports, many people are still unaccounted for, hence a search is still on for more survivours and the death toll could rise over time.
Cuba’s President, Miguel Diaz-Canel states that the explosion was caused by a gas leak in the kitchen of the hotel.
