Health Minister, Dr. Christopher Tufton Finally takes the Vaccine – Video

After much debates islandwide as to whether or not government officials should take the vaccine, Jamaica’s Health Minister, Dr. Christopher Tufton is seeking to put the negative comments about him not taking the vaccine to bed.

Today, Friday, March 19th as reported by CVM news, Tufton visited the Spanish Town Hospital in St. Catherine where he took his first dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine and states that “I do believe that as part of the leadership of a country and the standard-bearer for public health it’s important that we demonstrate our commitment to the process we are asking the country to buy into”.
