Reggae Sumfest the best Reggae Festival takes place in Montego Bay Jamaica each year in the month of July and it is always supported by music lovers from many places around the world. The first staging of the event happened in 1993, in 2016 the owners of Reggae Sumfest Productions Limited sold the trademark to Downsound Records.

The event has still done well even with new management and this year it will begin on a Sunday with the traditional Beach Party at the Walter Fletcher Beach Complex at Aquasol Theme Park, and on Tuesday there will be the all-white party held at Pier1 On the Water Front. The Reggae Festival continues with Dancehall Night, International Night 1 and 2 at the Catherine Hall Entertainment

Reggae Sumfest has attracted international stars in the past such as Rihanna, 50 cent and others have performed on the show along with Jamaican entertainers such as Beenie Man, Vybz Kartel, Bounty Killer, Tommy Lee Sparta, Elephant Man, Beres Hammond, Tony Rebel, Buju Banton, Popcaan, Capelton and many other Jamaican artistes have performed at the event. New artistes are expected to perform on the show this year so patrons have a lot to look forward to.
