‘Holness Not Giving Kartel Nuh Props’ says MC Nuffy

In his latest interview, MC Nuffy covered a slew of topics with Kshema Francis on IRIE FM. He talked about his rise in the entertainment business as an MC after starting out as a dancer, he also talked on early school days and his plans for the future..

Notably, he went into detail about his issues with Isaiah Laing and the success of Freedom Street, aside from the success of the show, he also talked on the major negative as it relates to Popcaan telling Skatta Burrell about his mother.

“A Dancehall, which Dancehall yuh know weh neva have nuh drama… Dancehall come wid that.. a nuh nut’n serious man,” he said as he played down the situation, highlighting that the drama will not continue any further.

Moving on to the leader of the island not attending nor publicly supporting Freedom Street concert but on the other hand attending Agent Sasco and Buju Banton’s shows.

He noted that Hotels, Air BnB, and flights were ‘sold out’ but Prime Minister Andrew Holness did not acknowledge the success of the historic event. “Mi nuh si Anju give Kartel nuh probs, mi vex bout that,” says Nuffy before detailing that Holness did not support Kartel because of his political affiliation with the PNP.

Never the less Nuffy questioned, “how yuh reach over Buju show?” Alluding to the fact that Buju Banton is a People’s National Party supporter, hence his actions shows that there is a personal issue between the two.

“Anju yuh nuh more than wi,” he outlined.
