Holy Trinity High School Girl Recovers After she was Shot in the Head

The Holy Trinity High School girl, 12-year-old Trishana Barrett that was shot in the head before it was reported that she was dead, has recovered fully from her injury.

Trishana had successive surgeries after she was shot on September 6th,2019 when she was on her way home after she left school. She is now at home with her family, giving God thanks for a second chance at life.

It was reported that a lone gunman was trying to shoot an unarmed man and the gun failed to discharge and the man ran away. The weapon accidentally discharged afterwards and shot Trishana in her head, eyewitnesses quickly rushed her to the hospital after that.

The incident occurred in the section of St Andrew South where the State of Emergency was in progress.
