I-Octane has released the music video for his latest single, Backaz.

The track’s music video was directed by Bling Blang and premiered on Monday. Shot in Miami at the fictional prison “Pum Pum Boss Correctional Centre,” I-Octane takes on the role of a male prison guard at the facility.

Backaz was produced by Zj Diamond and sees I-Octane delivering what may be one of his most raunchy party singles aimed at female partygoers yet.

While the artiste first rose to prominence with Reggae songs such as Stab Vampire, he has leaned into his ‘Hot Ras’ persona over the years, releasing more Dancehall tracks.

“Gyal tun it round, fling it up, set up fi a backshot. Back it up, gi mi some, up in a yuh hot spot. Drop a grung, skin it out, open like a laptop. When yuh whine a nug game. Nutting like a hopscotch. When yuh whine and guh dung and push out like dah trolley deh,” I-Octane sings on the track.

At the end of the day, I-Octane was overcome by his desire for the females and disregarded his guarding duties, exchanged ‘Backaz’ for the freedom of the females at the lockup

Reacting to the single, fans of the artiste applauded him for releasing a party track aimed at women.

“Let out the queen dem dj dancehall need some songs like this for the ladies them video shotttt,” one fan wrote.
