Dancehall artiste Ikaya is refuting the allegation that she stole the musical style of fellow dancehall singjay Shaneil Muir. The accusation was sparked following the release of her and Producer Ajal’s new single, Insecure, which has many listeners saying that she sounds very similar to the ‘Top Gyal’ artiste.

However, Ikaya shut down the claims and even pointed out that while the person she is being compared to gained recognition a few years ago, She has been dropping songs for over 15 years. With her professional musical career spanning over a decade, Ikaya also credited herself as an influence to many younger female artistes.
