Increased Chance of Tropical Storm or Hurricane Development Within Next 7 Days in the Caribbean

Jamaica was recently spared of Tropical storms Debby and Ernesto, never the less the Hurricane season is almost at its peak which is around September 10. Based on a new forecast released on August 29 at 7:35 AM, the possibility of more bad weather in the near future is increasing.
Notably Hurricane Beryl impacted Jamaica on July 3, 2024, with most of the damages done on the southern coast, some places are yet to get back electricity as a result of the Hurricane.
Thursday morning Weather Jamaica shared a screenshot of a report from The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida which states that a storm may develop in the Caribbean over the next 7 days because of suitable conditions in the Atlantic Ocean where the storms usually form.
“CODE ORANGE! The U.S. National Hurricane Center has stated that the chances of tropical storm or hurricane development across the Caribbean during the next seven days have increased. Jamaicans should stay alert just in case. Francine is imminent,” the caption reads.
