Inmate Disarms Officer and Shoots 2 Persons at Police Station in Montego Bay

It has been reported that an inmate at the Freeport Police Station in Montego Bay, St. James, was shooting at police officers around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The report detailed that the inmate stole the gun from a policeman and barricaded himself inside a building on the compound.
Afterwards, he proceeded to shoot at the police officers, according to the Jamaica Gleaner.
So far, two other inmates were found with gunshot wounds.
