Irwin High Student Fatally Stabbed by Another Student: Reports

As per reports, a male student was fatally stabbed by another student at Irwin High School which is located in Montego Bay. While the information on the incident is little at the moment, it was reported that the stabbing took place on Thursday, during a heated altercation.
The news was shared on Instagram by This_is_a_blast, the post reads, “#News: 👉🏻 A male #Irwin High School Student was #Allegedly fatally St@bb3d by another student during a #Reported Heated Altercation earlier today • 4/18/24 #StJames 🇯🇲 #Jamaica.”
According to the comments, the stabbing did in fact take place, with two people claiming that their cousin was the victim, firstlady4ever wrote, “THaEM KILL MI COUSIN Raniel PLUMMER ,THAT’S HIM 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢.”
Multiple other persons also commented on seeing a video of the incident. The school’s administration is also being blamed in the comments with one person labelling the principal and dean of discipline as “weak”.

This news comes on the heels of an announcement that Mona High School in St. Andrew will be temporarily closed due to ongoing violence among students, the school is expected to resume classes on Monday.
