Controversial singer Ishawna performed her most talked about song on the Reggae Sumfest stage in Montego Bay and left tongues wagging from a shocking prop of Bounty Killer she included in her risqué performance before daybreak on Saturday.
Ishawna, who came out fearless with a life size cut-out of veteran deejay Bounty Killer, took everyone by surprise when she belted out her biggest hit single Equal Rights and laid the prop on the ground.
The single that addresses the taboo nature of oral sex triggered a huge debate on social media during the time of its release in 2018, and Bounty Killer is one of the most vocal critics of the sexual act in dancehall.
This knowledge has left numerous persons remarking that the Equal Rights singer was being disrespectful for using Bounty Killer’s image as a sexual prop.
The audience was sent into a frenzy when the prop was unveiled, and as the entertainer laid the prop down to straddle Bounty Killer’s face, the crowd grew wilder.
According to The Star, Bounty Killer left instantly after his cardboard cut-out was revealed, which could be coincidental. The veteran reportedly left the venue via the media area with his team following behind.
Ishawna also included life size cut-outs of Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Minister of Health Dr Christopher Tufton. All three props were instrumental in the singer’s raunchy performance.
