According to Foota Hype, the man behind Reggae Sumfest, Joe Bogdanovich is “killing the brand” due to the fact that he failed to book several top-performing dancehall and reggae artistes for this year’s staging of the concert.
“The casting a f_ckery,” according to Foota with regards to night one.
With the fact that no international artiste was booked for Reggae Sumfest 2023, Foota Hype believes that enough money should be available to book big-name local artistes such as Popcaan, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Shabba etc because one international artiste will cost hundreds of thousands in USD to book, Chris Brown and Mariah Carey were given as examples.
