Jah Cure Aiming for Grammy Awards

Jah Cure has confirmed that he is aiming for the Grammy this year with his new album “Royal Soldiers” and he is on track as the album is in the number 1 spot on the Billboard Reggae Chart this week and the sales are doing well on itunes.

His album features collaborations with many international Reggae stars, such as Damian Marley, Capleton, Junior Reid, Popcaan and others.

Jah Cure whose real name is Siccature Alcock, said he heard people say every disappointment works out for your good and he can see where his album is already performing very well before it got to the number one spot on the Billboard chart.

He spent time with the Maasai tribe in Africa and members of the tribe went on stage with him to perform at a stage show after he invited them to join him.

In a recent interview the artiste said, ”he started the music program in the prison and it is good for prisoners to do more with their talents so they can be prepared to face life when they finish serving their sentences and return to live like other citizens.”

Jah Cure believes Superintendent Wright, the man who is now in charge of the music program in the prison is a good man and he believes Vybz Kartel and Ninja Man can help the other inmates to learn how to do music in a professional way.

He said some of his best songs that helped to make his career what it is today, were written while he was behind bars.

His latest album “Royal Soldiers” that he worked on for 3 years, is being distributed by VP Records and they are doing a good job, as it is available on many platforms.

He has also become a producer and he like that job, as he plans to keep on putting out music for his fans that he is very grateful to for their support over the years.

Cure is now a respected reggae act in the music industry. “Royal Soldiers” and there was an announcement that “Royal Soldiers” was number 1 in Belgium, number3 in the UK, number2 in the US, number 2 in France and he still encourages fans to go out and buy his music.
